KeystoneOps For UK trusts

The operational risk you sign off on.

One platform you own — not five renewals you're exposed to.

Your CFO models the cost and your IT director models the stack. Your job is the risk that lands on the board: is the trust's safeguarding, estates and governance evidence defensible on inspection day, and is the trust exposed to a vendor it can't control? KeystoneOps is owned, not rented — a perpetual licence, the source code in your hands, and your data on infrastructure you (or a UK partner) control. We're a new company and we say so plainly; the de-risking is structural, not a logo wall.

The jobs nobody bought a platform to solve.

Inspection-day exposure

When Ofsted or the ICO asks, the trust's answer cannot be "it's in a spreadsheet across six inboxes". The evidence has to be one place, current, and auditable — that is a board-level risk, not an IT preference.

Vendor concentration risk

A SaaS vendor holding your safeguarding and estates data, with annual price leverage and a proprietary export, is a dependency the board owns. Continuity should not require that vendor to still exist.

Growth that punishes you

Per-seat platforms make every academy you take on more expensive. Strategy and the operating model end up in tension with the licensing model.

New-vendor scrutiny

Adopting a 2026 vendor is a fair question at board level. It deserves a real answer, not a deflection — the answer here is source-included continuity, UK ownership, and an explicit Founding Trust arrangement.

Outcomes you can quote in your next board pack.

Owned

A perpetual licence plus the source code. If we ever disappeared, the trust keeps running, modifying and self-hosting it — built-in escrow, no lock-in.

UK-only

Pupil and staff data on infrastructure you control, or UK single-tenant we run. No third-country transfer for the board to carry.

Defensible

Safeguarding, estates and governance evidence current and auditable on the day someone asks — not reconstructed afterwards.
