The Welcome Desk
A branded, full-screen kiosk for any monitor: visitors and contractors enter their details, capture a photo, accept the site code of conduct, and print a badge. Returning visitors are recognised; pre-invited guests skip the queue.
Staff attendance, frictionless
Staff sign in by name search, an RFID / NFC card tap, an entrance-checkpoint QR, or geofenced auto check-in from the mobile app. Reception can enrol a new card in seconds.
Roll-call that is the fire register
A live on-site list of staff and visitors, groupable by school, becomes a printable fire register the instant you evacuate — with an audited "all accounted for" sign-off.

Wired into safeguarding
A sign-in that knows who shouldn't be on site.
Because Presence shares a platform with the Single Central Record, sign-in groups can require a DBS check and route the right vetting workflow, and arrivals can be screened against the safeguarding watchlist. The visitor book and the safeguarding register stop being two separate jobs.
