Statutory check types
DBS Enhanced + Barred List, right-to-work, ID, qualifications, prohibition order (Section 128), overseas check, medical fitness, references, childcare disqualification, safeguarding + Prevent training. All seeded; trust extends.
Per-role applicability
Different checks for teachers, early-years, site staff, governors, regular contractors. Matrix only asks for what each role actually needs.
Expiry tracking
Annual checks (training, DBS where required) auto-flag at 30 / 14 / 7 days. Owner + line manager get the email; dismissals are audited.
Verification workflow
DSL marks each check as verified with date, document, issuing authority. Audit log captures every change.
Document store
Per-check certificate uploads (encrypted at rest). One-click PDF download for inspector visits.
Inspector-ready PDF
The matrix as a printed report, branded for the trust, ready to email to Ofsted before the visit.
Bulk renewal
